CONTINUING OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY: UPDATING ISO 45001 CERTIFICATION

ISS 45001 HSE training

We are proud to prioritise the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, partners, and stakeholders at ISS. Recently, our team completed an intensive day-long course to update and reinforce our knowledge of ISO 45001:2018, the international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS).

ISO 45001 plays a crucial role in shaping a proactive safety culture at ISS, ensuring that we meet the highest standards for identifying and managing workplace risks. This latest course provided an in-depth refresher on key aspects of ISO 45001, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementing control measures to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. It also introduced the latest updates to the standard, helping us to stay ahead of regulatory changes and align with global best practices.

The course reinforced the importance of continuous improvement in our safety processes. By updating our ISO 45001 certification, we reaffirm our commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and compliant working environment for all. This training session also serves as a stepping stone in our broader sustainability goals, complementing our ongoing efforts towards ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.

At ISS, we recognise that a safe workplace is essential not only for our employees but also for the success of the projects we undertake. This updated certification ensures we remain compliant and competitive in the oil and gas industry while upholding our values of safety and sustainability.

We are excited to carry forward the knowledge and skills gained from this training as we continue our mission to fuel the future responsibly. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey towards maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship.
