OUR JOURNEY TO LOWER EMISSIONS

Lowering emissions is critical in the global fight against climate change and aligns with international efforts, such as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement, which aim to limit global warming to well below 2°C. By reducing greenhouse gas emissions, we not only contribute to stabilising the climate but also help create a more sustainable future for communities and industries. As a responsible company, we are committed to doing our part by reducing our carbon footprint and supporting global efforts to mitigate the impact of climate change.

Driving Impact:
Minimising Emissions Across Our Operations

Scope 1: Reducing Direct Emissions

As a service supplier, our direct (Scope 1) emissions are minimal. However, we are committed to continuously improving our operational efficiency by minimising fuel consumption from company-owned vehicles and on-site equipment. Our goal is to reduce fuel consumption by 10% before 2026 through initiatives such as optimising logistics and investing in more efficient technologies. Moreover, we strive for a 25% reduction by 2030 by transitioning to hybrid vehicles and using low-carbon alternatives for on-site energy consumption.

Scope 2: Lowering Indirect Emissions

To address our Scope 2 emissions, which are primarily driven by energy consumption, we are transitioning towards renewable energy sources. By 2025, we aim to source 15% of our electricity from renewable energy providers for our offices and operations. Additionally, we are implementing energy-efficient practices such as upgrading to LED lighting, optimising cooling systems, and intend on reducing overall energy usage by 40% by 2030.

Targeting Operational Carbon Reductions

While our operations are already designed to have a low environmental impact, we are setting ambitious targets to reduce our overall carbon footprint. We have committed to reducing our combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 20% by 2030, and we are actively tracking our progress through regular emissions reporting.
